Coaching often gets mistaken for counseling, so first let’s look at what coaching is not. Coaching is not a deep-dive into family systems, past traumas, and is not meant to directly address any underlying mental health disorders. Coaching can be a helpful supplement in addition to counseling but it is not a substitute.
Coaching is about understanding who you were made to be, identifying where you are adapting outside your individual natural sweet spot, and optimizing opportunities in your environment, relationships, and responsibilities so you can live true to who you were called to be.
Coaching is solution- and goal-oriented. In coaching you can expect help identifying and leveraging your strengths and creating an action plan to work together toward a solution that will allow for quantifiably measured growth and progress.
